I’ve always been a bit of a Halloween poo-poo’er. Costumes stress me out! They also go against what I teach my clients—I’m all about getting the most out of everything in your closet. Instead, they’re usually one-off outfits made from cheap, fast-fashion fabric that falls apart, only to sit in the back of your closet until you eventually toss them.
That said, I had a great time at a recent girls’ trip where we dressed up as ’90s female singers. Obviously, I went as Dolly (you can see the whole look on my Instagram here) and as I was buying pieces for the look, I was already thinking about how I could style them again (minus the massive blonde wig, but you never know 🤪).
Halloween doesn’t have to mean waste. With a little creativity, it can be the kickoff to what I like to call ✨sparkle season ✨!
