Springtime means gardening and long-overdue breaks from everyday routines. For me, it means packing for Italy, and I’ve been working on a fun project I’m going to share with you: a travel catalog to help you pack with more personality and fewer neutrals (don’t worry, it’ll still be practical)!
→ You can explore the catalog here

If travel is a break from your everyday life, your clothes should be too.
In my own prepping, I need to move from a mental packing list to actually packing, like ASAP. And I’m already wondering how I’m going to make it all fit, because even without the extra supplies and surprises for my retreatees, I usually clock in at 49.9 lbs 😅
But I refuse to default to packing lists and travel style guides that strip away personality in the name of efficiency.
You’ve seen the capsule wardrobes designed for max packing optimization. Everything’s coordinated and interchangeable. I’m all for this, but not when all you get is black, grey, and beige.
Simplified? Sort of. Space-saving? Definitely. But where’d you go?!
When you look back at your travel photos, do you really want to see yourself blending into the background of an adventure you were so excited to experience?
Let’s do a reframe, because you’re going to be wearing these pieces to the same events either way:
If you’re already bringing jeans, could they be embroidered instead of classic denim?
Could the one special dress you pack be off-the-shoulder or feature a fun pattern instead of a solid jersey-knit?
Can your shoes be orange?? (I’m bringing these, whether they “go” with anything or not)
You’re on an adventure, which means you are adventurous. Your outfits should reflect that!
I created this catalog to help you do exactly that, while still keeping everything easy and cohesive.
→ Use This Catalog as Your Travel Inspiration
While packing, I would like you to:
- Include the piece you love but “never have a place to wear it.”
- Bring the colors, the statement earrings, and the unexpected sunglasses, and especially the patterned scarf for the days you are wearing solids)
Start by packing your personality pieces, then use a color wheel to figure out which colors complement them (and yes, that might be pink or yellow rather than black and beige).
See! It’s still practical. It’s still efficient. Everything works together- you just don’t look like the internet’s version of packing.
Because the most memorable photos aren’t the ones where everything matches according to the rules – you know I don’t believe in rules.
They’re the ones where you can clearly see you. Your personality, your joy, and your adventurous sparkle shine through you, on you, and all around you.
I’m closing April for client work to focus on the retreat, but if you want me to pack for your upcoming trips – and be your personal color wheel – book now so we’re ready when I return in May.
As you prepare for your next adventure, my question is:
If not everything, what are the 3 pieces you’re packing that truly feel like you?
