I got to lead a queer artist’s meetup through the Southern Equality Studios.
Activism is woven through all of my work, and I’m especially grateful when I get to bring it into spaces within my own community.
We made collages, shared about clothing and identity, and explored personal style as our bold, honest, authentic expression. I reflected back what I intuitively saw in each person’s collage, and the whole evening was illuminating, wildly expressive, and deeply meaningful.
