2026…The Year We Stop Waiting!
The Lunar New Year has ushered in the Year of the Horse, and I’ve been reflecting on what that energy invites us into.
Last year, the Year of the Snake had its fill of shedding, pushing many of us into moments of stillness and reflection. For me, it was definitely a year filled with letting go of identities, expectations of myself, and habits and patterns I no longer needed.
But this year feels different. The Horse represents momentum, passion, and a willingness to move forward with conviction. It’s not forward movement in a frantic or impulsive way, but with grounded confidence. The kind of confidence that comes after you’ve made courageous changes.
There are seasons when life asks us to retreat inward. And then there are seasons when it nudges us outward into visibility, bold decisions, and environments that stretch us no matter how uncomfortable they might feel. Sometimes, the boldness is be small, like choosing to wear red or purple when you usually stay in neutral tones, or saying yes before fear-based doubt takes over.
Travel is often one of those catalysts. When we step outside of the familiar, something shifts. We see ourselves more clearly and begin to take up space differently. As you know, I’m hosting a style immersion retreat in Italy centered on sensory experience, self-expression, and expansion.
I’m still pinching myself that I get to lead you all on this retreat! There are a few spaces remaining, and if you’ve been feeling the nudge toward something expansive, The Year of the Horse is the year to follow it.
Take a moment to consider whether this is the year to simply circle the edges of what could be, or the year to step forward toward something new and bold.
