Hi Marisol,

We’re back withĀ Part TwoĀ of myĀ 10-Year Anniversary Series—a celebration of Sol Reflection, the incredible clients I’ve met, and the lessons learned along the way.

Last week, I shared how this journey began: a hope, a leap, and a belief that getting dressed could truly change lives. If you missed that, you can read my storyĀ here.Ā This week, I’m diving into how the fashion industry has evolved—and how viewing those changes through a therapeutic lens has transformed both my work and my clients’ experiences.

When I startedĀ Sol Reflection, the world surrounding personal style looked very different. The “body positivity” movement was becoming more prominent, and social media was only starting to shape how we see and consume style. As these platforms grew, so did access to body, age, and style representation that many of my clients had been missing. But that access also brought an overwhelming flood of trends, quick fixes, and endless advice.

I’ve written before about how trends can be a bridge for connection (read moreĀ here), but I’ve also seen that true transformation happens when my clients start to see themselves as uniquely beautiful, believing that they are worthy, just as they are.

In a world where fashion changes on the daily, it’s easy to say ā€œjust love yourselfā€ or ā€œignore the noise.ā€Ā Yet, after ten years in this work, I’ve learned that’s NOT AT ALL realistic—for myself or for my clients. Real growth omes from building a grounded, evolving relationship with style that can hold steady through change.

Style is a relationship.Ā It grows, evolves, and sometimes stumbles. Some days we love how we show up; other days we question it. Loving yourself every day isn’t the goal—it’s about staying open and curious, and about nurturing your relationship to yourself to build a foundation strong enough to weather the ups and downs.

If you’ve beenĀ cravingĀ a deeper connection between how youĀ feelĀ and how youĀ show upĀ in the world, now is the perfect time to begin that relationship with yourself and your style in a new way. Let’s talk, babe.šŸ‘‡

Over the years, I’ve honed a unique blend of psychology and styling expertise that helps you nurture a healthier relationship with how you express yourself through what you wear—one built on trust, curiosity, and self-acceptance. It’s about retraining the brain to show up as yourself, fully and authentically, letting your clothes reflect the truth of who you are.

That has always been the heart of Sol Reflection: guiding people toward authenticity and alignment—where the inner world and outer expression meet.

If you’re ready to begin exploring what that alignment looks like for you, I would be honored to walk alongside you.
