Many of you know, we live in Asheville, NC, and our beautiful town was hit HARD by Hurricane Helene. To be completely frank, itβs absolutely awful π.Β
That said, my family has evacuated and we are fortunate to be on safe ground. We gave our food and water to neighbors, as the city currently has limited resources.Β
This morning, I woke up for the first time feeling more settled than I had been and gratefully present in my body.Β
In feeling a sense of safety and settling, I am returning to work virtually. I continue to let my Asheville-based clients know that we are on pause for a minimum of two weeks. No one will lose time with me.Β
For my distance clients in the U.S. and around the world, I am working. My schedule is varied so if you are interested in becoming a client, please reach out for us to schedule. I met with a new client in Maine today and doing what I love feels amazing during this time of tragedy.Β
Asheville is an unbelievable community full of historic buildings, entrepreneurs, and small businesses.Β
Adam and I are receiving donations in preparation to take a trailer with food, water, formula, and other necessities back to Asheville. If you feel called to donate, you can Venmo me @Marisol-Colette. Other ways to support are to email helenedonations@buncombecounty.org or helenevolunteers@buncombecounty.org
In general, send loving care as the people of Asheville focus on tending their nervous systems, checking in on friends, loving our families, and supporting the community at large.Β
Adam, Neo, and I continue to name our blessings. Thank you to all who have checked in on us and sent donations. Your care and generosity goes a long way.
